Cancellation Policy
Breaking Blue Surf School may only partially refund payments if cancelled or amended by the customer. Cancellation periods are:
48 hours to 60 days prior to lesson - 25% of payment made, must be forfeited.
24 hours to 48 hours prior to lesson - 50% of payment made, must be forfeited.
Within 24 hours prior to lesson - 100% of payment made, must be forfeited.
If the customer does not arrive for the scheduled lesson, no refund or amendment will be given. If the customer is late for the scheduled lesson, then the lesson will still finish as scheduled, no extensions of time will be given. No refund is given for non attendances or late appearances.
If Breaking Blue Surf School have to cancel the lesson for reasons beyond the school's control eg. dangerous weather, then Breaking Blue Surf School will contact the customer as soon as possible in order to reschedule a convenient alternative. Breaking Blue Surf School will not reimburse any transport, accommodation or other expenses incurred by the customer or any other person in the event of a cancellation.
We will offer the customer a reschedule of the lesson at no additional cost if the weather is unsafe to proceed or the surf school has to cancel for any reason.
Prices
Prices are valid from 01 January 2018. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Payment Policy
Payment in full is required to secure a surf lesson booking. Payment must be made when booking.
Credit policy
All lessons will need to be paid for in full prior to the lesson commencing. No credit is given.
Waiver Policy
Participating in surf lessons can be inherently dangerous. Participating in surf lessons is entirely at the customer's own risk. All customers must read, fill out, and sign a waiver form prior to participating in a Breaking Blue Surf School surf lesson. If the participant is under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must also sign the waiver form.
Participation
All participating surf school students must have the ability to swim 50 metres unassisted. Any participants under the age of 18 years, must be accompanied by an adult and that adult must stay present nearby during the lesson.
Privacy Policy
Breaking Blue Surf School may use your details to send you communication about, specials or relevant information. You will have the option to unsubscribe at any time. We do not share your details with any third parties.
Gift Vouchers
Breaking Blue Surf School gift vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable. Vouchers are valid for a maximum of 6 months from the date of issue. Booking times must be withing the voucher expiry period. Expired vouchers carry no value. Vouchers can not be redeemed for cash or any other products or values than that stated on the voucher. Each voucher has a unique code that must be quoted when booking. Customers must keep their vouchers and codes safe, as once the code is used, it can not be used again. It is the customers' responsibility to protect their vouchers from theft or misuse.
